Chinar Bagh (Freedom Fighters Monument) Gilgit

Chinar Bagh, Yaad Gaar e Shuhda (Freedom Fighters Monument) is a memorial of the heroes who died in the independence of Gilgit. The nearby Gilgit River allows for a pleasant walk, with two hanging bridges at stretch across the river.

This Yaadgar was first constructed in the early 60s in memory of the martyrs of Gilgit Scout who fought for the liberation of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Monument of Taj Mughal, Shigari Tower, Khomer Gilgit

Victory Monument of Taj Mughal was built about 700 years ago and it takes about 30 minutes walk form the Serena Hotel to get there. The monument is a reminder of Taj-Ud-Din Mughal, an Ismaili ruler from Badakhshan who came to Gilgit Baltistan during the midst of 13th century AD. A memorial tower (14'-4" width and 21'-10" height) was built by his soldiers on the south mountain of Khomar and Jutial at an altitude of 1,000 ft above Gilgit town. Government of Pakistan, Department of Archaeology is the legal owner of monument.

Khalther Lake, in the Gilgit Baltistan region, is located on top of the mesmerizing Ghomaling Darkut, Yasin Valley.

Khalther Lake is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 12,800ft above the sea level, located on the Ghomaling slopes of Darkut in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of northern Pakistan.

Yasin Valley in Ghizer District is one of the most scenic valleys with easy access both from Gilgit and Chitral. It takes four to five hours from Gilgit. Makuli Pastureland is one of the most famous tourist spots in the entire region. You can see eight lakes, five in Makuli and Two in Juth Bar Pastureland.
