Distance : Gilgit to Sost 182 KM and Sost to Baba Ghundi Shrine 72 KM.

The current mystical Baba Ghundi Ziarat was build by Mir Ghazin Khan in 1924. Inside it is said is the sword of the saint who not buried here. Therefore the shrine is only a memory place. Bana Ghundi performed some miracles in chapursan valley. His main miracle is a tale of sin and retribution. Chapursan was once a healthy Valley but all lived in sin. Baba Ghundi come here and and want from house to house asking for alms. None but one woman gave him food. Baba Ghundi told her to leave her house going up a hill. Soon afterward she saw the saint ridding at the front of a big flood that wiped the Valley and its people out in punishment for their sinful lives

Asumber Nala, Sandi Yasin Valley Ghizer

Yasin Valley in Ghizer District is one of the most scenic valleys with easy access both from Gilgit and Chitral. It takes four to five hours from Gilgit. Asumber Pastureland is one of the most famous tourist spots in the entire region. You can see three lakes in Asumber.

You can reach after four Hours driving from Gilgit. Seven hours trakking required for reaching Asumber pass.

Asumber Pass has an altitude of around 4500 meters. It is a moderate level non-technical trek that connects Ishkoman valley with Yasin valley in Ghizer district of Gilgit-Baltistan. Best time to do this trek is between mid July and mid September. The pass remains heavily covered in snow till generally the end of June. As it was still early June.

Hero's of Gilgit Baltistan Independence, Chinar Bagh, Yaad Gaar e Shuhda, Freedom Fighters Monument

Chinar Bagh, Yaad Gaar e Shuhda (Freedom Fighters Monument) is a memorial of the heroes who died in the independence of Gilgit. The nearby Gilgit River allows for a pleasant walk, with two hanging bridges at stretch across the river.

This Yaadgar was first constructed in the early 60s in memory of the martyrs of Gilgit Scout who fought for the liberation of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Snow leopard at Naltar Valley Pakistan

Experts say that only around 3,500 to 7,000 wild snow leopards remain in the mountain regions of Central Asia, including the 200 or so in the mountain ranges of Pakistan. In addition, there are between 600 and 700 snow leopards in zoos around the world.

The leopard, who has been in the custody of wildlife conservationists ever since it was a cub who had gotten separated from its mother nearly three years ago, had recently been shifted from Dhee in Khunjerab to a remote section of Dishkir in Naltar
